Julianna Sousa

Julianna Sousa is a camera-based Artist from New York, currently living in Madrid, España. Her background is in fine art photography, focusing on set and prop design. Sousa earned her BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design and has worked in the music industry as an in-house photographer, along with maintaining a freelance practice for over six years. Known for her bold and whimsical style, she embraces experimentation and often creates work shaped by world events, personal experiences, humor, and girlhood. She draws inspiration from Dadaism and Surrealism, which she appreciates both personally and academically, along with the energetic style of 90s MTV.
